Kansas City Magazine named TACO NACO KC one of its nine best new Kansas City restaurants in 2021. Natalie Torres Gallagher wrote about Chef Fernanda Reyes’s salsas, tacos and market selections at our Overland Park taquería, from fiery roasted salsa to cochinita pibil and potato pipián.

The recognition means a great deal because the restaurant was still young. We began with pop-ups at the Overland Park Farmers’ Market and opened our first permanent location in 2021. Chef Fernanda’s cooking draws on Mexican traditions while responding to the ingredients and people around us in Kansas City.
